Matching screw back earrings, fully faceted prong set emerald cut and color rhinestones, 1 1/4 inch diameter.

Classic Art Deco varied, engraved stripes adorn the top of this compact.

To make it a bit more unique, Elgin set the chain so that the compact would hand diagonally.

Measurements: 2 inch square and an 11 inch chain.

Compact hangs 5 1/2 inches off wrist or chain or cord or belt loop.

Inside is gold wash, with original mirror, blue felt rouge applicator, and a sifter for face powder.

The circle next to the rouge is empty and the closer for the face powder is missing.

Weighs 68.1 gr. However, the inside fittings make up most of this.

Top is script engraved Ruth.

Back is textured.

Even the corners have raised designs, which keep them smooth so they won't catch on delicate fabric.

Measurements: Little less than 3/4 inch wide; 1 1/8 inch opening; 6 1/4 inches around; inside width, 2 5/8 inches.

Almost 4.25" L, 3" W.

Each carnelian in its own sterling bezel: 1" L, 3/4" W.

The corners, angles, sides of stones...cut by a master.

Stones are flawless...some with striations, all with deep carnelian coloration.

Not stamped.

Back has ring for chain or cord.
