Box opens and closes easily, clasps are missing piece that secures box' closing securely.

Lovely, mint - never used - Wm. Rogers IS matching serving pieces: 3 forks and 3 spoons.

Fork: 9" L, 1.75" W base of fork - weighs 2.1 ounces.

Spoon: 9" L, 2.25" W - weighs 2.5 ounces.

The good or bad news is that this bird does not talk, just sits regally on his/her branch, looking rich and handsome in brilliant colors.

Looks like some sort of signature on the bottom, and I'm not sure.

15.25 inches tall, 11.25 inches wide, old brass with unbroken fancy leaf like trim on upper right and lower left.

Single piece of oval brass backing, with 6 brass clips holding needlepoint in place. Even has picture wire attached, ready for hanging.

Mint condition - and there is some brass which is part of the trim could use a polishing if you want it to look brighter than its Victorian patina.

Ladle is 12 inches long, handle is 1 inch wide at is widest, and ladle itself is almost 4 inches by 3 1/2 inches. Excellent condition: back of ladle has a small oval worn spot and there are signs of minor use on handle.

Stamped Leonore Doskum and Handmade Sterling.

5.7 grs.

Original patina - will polish if buyer prefers.

Measurements: 2.5" long by 9/16" wide (scoop), 1/4" wide handle.
