Oval brass frame, oval original glass, beautifully frame a hand made parrot hanging out on a vine.The good or bad news is that this bird does not talk, just sits regally on his/her branch, looking rich and handsome in brilliant colors.
Looks like some sort of signature on the bottom, and I'm not sure.
15.25 inches tall, 11.25 inches wide, old brass with unbroken fancy leaf like trim on upper right and lower left.
Single piece of oval brass backing, with 6 brass clips holding needlepoint in place. Even has picture wire attached, ready for hanging.
Mint condition - and there is some brass which is part of the trim could use a polishing if you want it to look brighter than its Victorian patina.
The frame or the needlepoint are both valuable and wonderful treasures to own, sell, or give as a gift to a parrot lover.
